Brush up on your Klingon and don your Starfleet uniform, Mr. Spock!
In partnership with the local chapter of Starfleet (a Star Trek “Trekkies” fan club), the USS Heimdal, Riverviews Artspace is hosting the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek from September 2nd through the 11th.
An opening exhibit displaying uniforms and other Star Trek paraphernalia, narrated by ‘Trekkies’ in full Star Trek attire, will start on September 2nd for First Friday at Riverviews Artspace. Sightings of Starfleet members and Klingons may occur that evening throughout Downtown Lynchburg and Riverviews Artspace.
From September 3rd -11th, a Star Trek Movie Marathon narrated by Starfleet members is taking place at Riverviews Rosel Schewel Movie Theater, showing the first 12 Star Trek Movies. Seating is limited to 40. Tickets are $8.00 or you can purchase a movie pass (buy 5, get one free).

Note: On Wednesday, September 8th a celebration will take place including Birthday Cake, honoring the 50th anniversary of the first aired Star Trek episode ( Sept 8th 1966).
