Fall festival season in Central Virginia starts in early September and continues into early November. Some local fall festivals are primarily for adults, but many offer fun kids' activities -- and many of the festivals offer free admission. Check out the information booths, let the kids enjoy the rides, pick up some yummy festival food and make memories as you spend a day outdoors together. Here are some favorite festivals for your family to check out this fall. Some of the festivals have multiple dates. The festival list will be updated as more information is received.
