Lynchburg Cooks For Hunger Relief

Presented by United Way of Central Virginia and Local Restauranteurs

By United Way of Central Virginia April 10, 2014
On Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at Phase 2, over 30 local vendors will be showcasing their signature dishes and beverages in support of three local agencies that are working to wipe out hunger in our region: DAWN (Donation-A-Week Neighbors), The Salvation Army and Parkview Community Mission.

Since 1992, these dedicated groups of restaurant owners, managers, food representatives and volunteers have been doing what they do best: cooking and serving food - for the purpose of helping those who are food insecure in our region. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door, and can be purchased at www.unitedwaycv.org or at the United Way of Central Virginia office at 1010 Miller Park Square, Lynchburg at (434) 846-8467. Ticket locations for 2014 are also Bull's Steakhouse, Charley's Restaurant and Phase 2.
