"Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner"

Take a road trip to Gretna this weekend to enjoy great comedy on the local stage as The Gretna Little Theatre presents "Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner," the story of a household of elderly widowed sisters who, by their own admission, share the responsibility of long living according to their talents. Lydia is the baker and cook; Dora is the seamstress; and Maggie is the housekeeper and dreamer. The sisters are visited regularly by their family Doc and nearly daily by the grocery delivery girl, Blue. Other characters you'll meet include Lydia's daughter, Phyllis; registered nurse Jean Mitchell and Jean's fiance Calvin. You'll enjoy laughter and fun at this production, suitable for the family. Show times are Oct. 24-25 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m. The production benefits the Alzheimer's Association of Central & Western Virginia.
