Happy Thanksgiving from Lynchburg Macaroni Kid! May your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, blessings, gratitude and the love of family. Enjoy family fun this weekend as you finish preparing for Thanksgiving! Enjoy the Duke Ellington Nutcracker or "Christmas Belles" with the Bedford Little Town Players to get into the holiday spirit. Head to Sweet Briar College and run with or cheer on the Girls on the Run of Central Virginia for their Celebration 5K. Kickstart your holiday shopping at the Downtown Diva Crawl or one of the craft shows and holiday bazaars taking place in the area this weekend. Take a road trip to Bedford for the Festival of Trees at the Bedford Welcome Center. Some other weekend events include: Chess for Kids at Lynchburg Public Library, fun activities at Amazement Square and the Kid's Haven Benefit Pool Tournament and Corn Hole Tournament. During the week ahead, enjoy making family memories for Thanksgiving, spending extra time with the kids, fun events at Amazement Square, The Motherhood Cafe and more.
