Bedford Festival of Trees

Find the Holiday Spirit and Vote for Your Favorite

By Sandy Wallace November 21, 2014
As Thanksgiving approaches, you can find your holiday spirit and vote for your favorite tree at the Bedford Festival of Trees, located at the Bedford Welcome Center, 816 Burks Hill Road, just off Route 460. Each year, businesses decorate Christmas trees and designate a favorite charity. Visitors to the Bedford Welcome Center can vote for their favorite tree for only $1 per vote. The three trees with the most votes will win the proceeds of the voting for their respective charities. It's free to visit the Welcome Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from Nov. 19 through Dec. 31, with noon closing on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The Bedford Welcome Center is closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Gather the kids and take a road trip to enjoy a Christmas walk back in time. This year's theme is "Christmas on the Home Front - 1944."
