NFL FLAG registration for the 2015 season is open from March 20 to April 5 for boys and girls in Central Virginia. The game of flag football is a fast-paced, non-contact game played between teams of five players. Each player on the offense and defense wears a set of flags. "Tackles" are made by pulling the flag out of the belt. All physical contact is strictly monitored for the safety of the players. Burns Athletics Flag Football League is an NFL sponsored league and jerseys are supplied with official NFL team logos.
Divisions are ages: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. The season begins April 25, 2015 with games held at Sandusky Park every Saturday from April 25 through May 30. Registration fee includes a NFL team jersey, official NFL FLAG belt and flags & a free USA Football Player membership.
