Registration is open for Music Together with Joia, an internationally renowned family music program serving children and families in the Greater Lynchburg area. Joia is a registered Music Together® teacher, with a background in both Montesorri and Waldorf School settings. A singer and songwriter with extensive experience performing for live audiences, Joia is thrilled to combine her love of music and early childhood education to bring this program to Lynchburg.
Classes are offered on Monday and Thursday mornings at 10:15 and 11:15 a.m. at First Christian Church on Rivermont Avenue. Each class lasts for 45 minutes. Start dates are Thursday, September 7th, and Monday, September 11th, 2017 and each session runs for 10 weeks.
Every week in our music classes at Music Together with Joia, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them come together to play together musically. Little ones love playing along in class, and caregivers love being a part of their children’s growth into confident music-makers. And everyone loves our songs that’ll have you tapping along in no time.
Fall Tuition is $160 for the first child; the sibling rate is $95. All tuition includes a $15 non-refundable registration fee. Siblings eight months or under at the session start date are free with a registered sibling. Up to two adults may attend class, as the classes are just as much for the adults as they are for the children. Additional visiting adults are welcome, but please contact us first to confirm space availability.
