Coloring Contest: What Does Love Mean in Your Family?

Enter Macaroni Kid's Coloring Contest and Win Tix to Family Valentine Dance!

By Sandy Wallace January 17, 2018

Charlottesville Ballet is hosting a Father Daughter Valentine Dance and your child can win free tickets for YOUR family! Our friends at Charlottesville Ballet have donated tickets to Lynchburg Macaroni Kid and we're sharing the love through a coloring contest, open to kids of all ages. The event celebrates the parent/child and overall family relationship; moms, dads, sons, and daughters are all welcome to attend!

Ask your child to draw a picture of what love means in your family. Maybe it's Mom and son cuddling with a book or Dad and daughter baking a cake. Let your child decide. The contest begins today, January 17 and ends Saturday, January 21 at 8 PM ends Friday, January 26 at 8 PM.

Submit your child's picture by email to sandyw@macaronikid.com or share on our Facebook page (please include your child's first name and age). We'll post all pictures on our Facebook page and the picture with the most likes takes home a four-pack of tickets to the Father/Daughter Valentine Dance! The sixth annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance takes place February, 3 at 1:00pm & 4:30pm and February 4 at 2:00pm at the Charlottesville Ballet Academy in its 1885 Seminole Trail Location in Charlottesville.

Your child can use markers, crayons, pencils, pens, chalk or whatever medium works best. Take a pic with your camera or phone or scan the picture and share. It's just that easy. Share the love...the family love that makes YOUR family special! So get ready, get set, and GO!
