United Way of Central Virginia to Distribute Food to Area Non-Profits

October Food Drive food will be shared with local non-profit agencies for the holidays

United Way of Central Virginia (UWCV) will distribute this year’s October Food Drive donations to the recipient food banks as well as share food drive results to the public.

United Way will present the Annual October Food Drive donations to 12 local non-profit food banks as well as share this year's food drive results to the citizens of Central Virginia at a press conference on Tuesday, November 13 at 10 AM. This press conference will be held at the United Way of Central Virginia office building located at 1010 Miller Park Square, Lynchburg, Virginia 24501.

The following agencies will benefit from the 2018 October Food Drive:

DAWN

Lake Christian Ministries

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Park View Community Mission

Rivermont Area Food Pantry

Piedmont Community Impact

Prospect Food Pantry

Blue Ridge Area Food Bank

Salvation Army
