Lynchburg Macaroni Kid Top 10 Family Friendly Weekend Events
1. Art Expeditions at Amazement Square takes place on Friday from 2-4 PM. This program is FREE with admission or membership.
2. Second Friday in Bedford offers later than normal hours at art galleries, retailers and restaurants in Centertown Bedford. Find Your Family Fun® in Bedford from 5-8 PM this Friday!
3. Pajama Paint Party at Kid's Paint Night takes place on Friday from 6-8 PM at Imagination Station Studio in Forest. Kids are welcome to be dropped off or parents can join the fun. Choose your favorite canvas and follow the steps. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served too.
4. The Variety Show at Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church takes place on Friday from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at the church in Lynchburg. Come enjoy a relaxed and entertaining family event, raising funds to support our travelling missions team.
5. "Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic" is a hysterical parody of everyone's favorite boy wizard and everyone's least favorite house, the Puffs. This theatre event takes place Thursday through Saturday at 7 PM at the Miller Center.
6. JUMP 'N GLOW at JUMP Lynchburg Trampoline Park takes place on Friday and Saturday nights from 8 PM until closing. JUMP ‘N GLOW is a black light night jump. White or neon shirt required for jumping and are available for purchase.
7. Winter Ballet Camp at Ecclesia School of the Arts is for ages 4-12. Students will learn ballet basics, enjoy fun winter-themed dance games and crafts. This event takes place on Saturday from 10-12.
8. Open Art Studio at Amazement Square takes place Saturday from 10-1 and Sunday from 1-3 PM. This program is FREE with admission or membership.
9. Storytime at Barnes & Noble is a fun storytime for the littles to enjoy every Saturday at 11 AM at Barnes & Noble, located in the Target shopping center.in Lynchburg.
10. Parents Night Out at Dynamic Gymnastics takes place on Saturday from 6-9 PM at the gym's new location at 117 Greystone Drive, off Leesville Road in Lynchburg. Register in advance for this fun event for ages 5 and older.
