Easter is celebrated with many different traditions. Your family may dye eggs, participate in an Easter egg hunt, share a meal with extended family, attend a service at your church, or do all of these. However your family celebrates Easter, we wish you a Happy Easter from Lynchburg Macaroni Kid!
Easter 2026 will be celebrated on Sunday, April 5. Many churches have already publicized times for Easter week services. Times are noted if shown on their Facebook page or website. If neither notes Easter times, noted as "Times not noted***", and included information from services the previous year, since many churches offer Easter services at the same time every year.
Check this listing of many local churches to find times of services for Easter Sunday! Some churches offer online services in addition to in-person services. Many of these churches also offer services on Palm / Passion Sunday on March 29, Maundy Thursday on April 2, Good Friday on April 3, and Holy Saturday on April 4.
We've included a variety of area churches, listed in alphabetical order. Times are noted if shown on their Facebook page or website. If not noted, we've included information from services the previous year as a guideline to what this year's services may be, but will update periodically.
Many of these churches frequently offer family and children's events in addition to worship.
