Academy Center of the Arts Summer Camps offers a variety of quality theatre and fine arts camps for children ages 6 and older.
Week long camps operate during June, July, and early August. Theatre camps include performances at the end of camp. Register for Academy Center of the Arts Summer Camps now!
Elite Athletics is your child's favorite place to be! We are a local gym that offers gymnastics, cheer, ninja and preschool classes and summer camps. This year's summer camp theme weeks for ages 5 and older are: Lights, Camera, Action Summer Camp, Ninja Summer Camp, Under the Sea Summer Camp, Olympics Summer Camp, and Flip for All Summer Camp (for special needs individuals). Storybook Summer Camp is our preschool summer camp week for ages 3-6.

Endstation Theatre Company's EMBARK! Youth Theatre Conservatory was launched in 2017 by Endstation Theatre Company. This program focuses on teaching the 3C’s: Confidence, Creativity, and Communication. The Conservatory gives rising 3rd through graduating 12th graders the opportunity to hone their skills under the direction of experienced theatre practitioners from around the region and nation.

The James River Association Summer Outdoor Camp is for rising 3rd-8th graders in the Lynchburg region. is providing a fantastic opportunity for youth to engage with river-based learning experiences that inspire confidence, ecological understanding, nature appreciation, and conservation action. Campers will have the opportunity to kayak, canoe, and paddleboard this summer! Students will be given paddling instructions and safety guidelines and spend the week with our staff who have received American Canoe Association and Wilderness First Responder training. The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center is a 66-acre outdoor adventure and event facility located 30 minutes outside of Roanoke, Virginia. With scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Peaks is an ideal location for events ranging from youth camps to field trips to student and corporate retreats to weddings. Local middle schoolers are invited to participate in the Bedford Outdoor Adventures camp June 3-7, 2024, at The Peaks Retreat & Adventure Center in Thaxton. The camp is designed to ignite the spirit of exploration and cultivate a love of the great outdoors.

Academy Center of the Arts Summer Camps
Academy Center of the Arts offers a wide variety of quality theatre and arts camps for children ages 6 and older.
Whether your child is interested in theatre arts, painting, drawing, music, or sculpture, there's a camp that's just right for your child. Theatre camps include performances to showcase what the students have learned.

At all camps, campers will enjoy time in our gym (tumble track, ninja course, pit), games, a daily craft and snack.
Lights, Camera, Action Summer Camp (ages 5 and older) is a camp for young actors! This summer camp will explore some of our favorite animated movies. June 10-14 from 8 AM - 12 PM
Ninja Summer Camp (ages 5 and older) is our most popular summer camp. Campers will enjoy exploring all things ninja! June 17-21 from 8 AM - 12 PM
Under the Sea Summer Camp (ages 5 and older) is a fun water week! Summer can be hot so we have plenty activities to help our campers cool off! June 24-28 from 8 AM - 12 PM
Storybook Summer Camp (ages 3-6) is our preschool summer camp week. Each day we will explore a famous children's storybook! July 15-19 from 8 AM - 12 PM
Flip for All Summer Camp (ages 5 and older special needs) is for campers who have special needs. This camp is based off our Flip 4 All recreational class. July 22-24 from 9 AM - 11 AM
Olympics Summer Camp (ages 5 and older) is our countdown to the 2024 Summer Olympics! Spend the week on team Elite working hard to win the gold! July 29 - Aug. 2 from 8 AM - 12 PM

James River Association Outdoor Summer Camp
The James River Association Summer Outdoor Camp for rising 3rd-8th graders in the Lynchburg region will give campers the opportunity to kayak, canoe, and paddleboard this summer! Campers will learn about proper paddling techniques and water safety; enjoy science experiments, art projects, watersports, swimming, and team challenges. Camps will be held for three week in June and three weeks in July. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 4 PM with extended care available.
