Lynchburg has so many beautiful places to visit, especially at sunset and dusk.
Although our favorite sunset views overlook bodies of water, there are many other scenic options in Lynchburg.

Tips for watching sunset:
1. Arrive early. Check your weather app to see sunset times and arrive at least 15 minutes early.
2. Stay late. Dusk skies are worth staying after sunset. Dusk usually arrives 20-30 minutes after sunset.
3. No trespassing. Although there are many beautiful sunset views on private property, it's best to stick to public locations.
4. Enjoy the views. Sometimes the best views are seen while you're driving and can't pull over. So just enjoy the sunset, even if you can't take a picture.
5. There's safety in numbers. Consider bringing a friend along, especially if you're going somewhere more remote.
6. Sometimes the best sunset views are from your own back deck!
