Here's a list of locations in Lynchburg and Central Virginia offering live Christmas trees in 2025. Social media links and dates of operation are noted if available.

2025 Tree Lot Dates and Times
Bedford Evergreens Christmas Tree Farm, located at 1893 Robertson Road in Bedford, offers choose and cut Christmas trees. Bedford Evergreens will be open for three weekends only for the 2025 season: Friday, Nov. 28 from 10 AM - 5 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 29-30, Dec. 6-7, and Dec. 12 PM - 5 PM each day. Hours will be updated as needed on their Facebook page.
Campbell's Tree Farm, located at 292 Camden Drive in Madison Heights, offers fresh cut white pine and Norway spruce trees. You pick your tree, and they'll cut it fresh. Campbell's Tree Farm opens on Nov. 22 for the 2025 season. Hours will be Saturdays from 9 AM - 5 PM, Sundays from 12 PM - 5 PM, and also Black Friday, Nov. 28, from 9 AM - 5 PM.
Dancing Hill Christmas Tree Farm, located at 1401 Dancing Hill Road in Bedford, opens on Friday, Nov. 28 for the 2025 season. Hours will be 9 AM - 6 PM. They will likely sell out before the end of the day. The trees will be choose and cut your own. The gift shop will be open on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29 from 9 AM - 6 PM. All items in the gift shop will be 25% off both days. Dancing Hill will also have wreaths for sale. In addition, they have a large antique sleigh in the field, as well as some other Christmas-related photo set ups, all perfect for great picture-taking opportunities.
Dave's Maine Wreaths and Trees, located beside Rookies, 16129 Forest Road in Forest, opens for the season on Nov. 28 for the 2025 season and will remain open daily until all trees are sold, generally a few days before Christmas. The Timberlake Road location is permanently closed. This will be Dave's 36th season selling Christmas trees in the Lynchburg area. Dave's offers pre-cut Christmas trees, wreaths, bows, centerpieces, garland, memorial wreaths, and more. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9 AM - 9 PM and Sundays from 11 AM - 8 PM.
Davis Produce, located at 13475 Wards Road in Lynchburg, has received their annual shipment of Fraser fir Christmas trees on Nov. 19 for the 2025 season. This is their only shipment. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10 AM - 7 PM and closed on Sundays.
Forest Lions Club operates a Christmas tree lot, located at 14956 Forest Road (beside Benjamin's Restaurant) in Forest. Forest Lions Club has been holding their annual Christmas Tree Sale since 1974, when the Club formed. The lot will be open for the 2025 season from Friday, Nov. 28 for approximately one week, until all trees are sold. Forest Lions Club sale will continue daily until all trees are sold. Hours of operation are Friday, Nov. 28 from 2 PM - 6 PM; Saturday, Nov. 29 from 9 AM - 6 PM; Sunday, Nov. 30 from 12 PM - 6 PM, and Monday through Friday the following week from 12 PM - 6 PM. Santa will be at the tree lot on Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM.
Gary's Garden Center, located at 794 Leesville Road in Lynchburg, will have fresh cut frazier fir Christmas trees arriving for the 2025 season on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22. Poinsettias will arrive on Friday, Nov. 21 and they will also have Christmas cactus, Cyclamen, Amaryllis, and more available in the greenhouse. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM, Saturdays from 8 AM - 3 PM, and Sundays from 12 PM - 3 PM.
Green Needles Christmas Tree Farm, located at 1175 Yew Tree Lane in Coleman Falls, offers both pre-cut and choose and cut Christmas Trees, wreaths, and roping. Green Needles opens for the season on Saturday, Nov. 22 for the 2025 season. Hours of operation are Fridays from 10 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5:30 PM until they sell all of their trees. This has happened in one weekend in the past.
Huckleberry Knob Nursery, located at 1469 Sunnymeade Road in Rustburg, will have fresh cut Christmas trees, wreaths, and poinsettias arriving on Saturday, Nov. 22 for the 2025 season. Santa will be visiting Huckleberry Knob Nursery on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 2 PM - 6 PM. Bring your phone or camera to take your own free photos. Extended hours of operation from Nov. 24 through Dec. 7 are Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM - 6 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM - 5 PM.
Saunders Brothers Christmas Tree Farm, located at 2717 Tye Brook Highway in Piney River, will have pre-cut Christmas trees starting on *Not yet updated for 2025*. Saunders Brothers is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM - 5 PM.
Smiths Pumpkin Patch, located at 6204 Fort Avenue in Lynchburg, will open their Christmas tree lot on Sunday, Nov. 23 for the 2025 season. Smith's offers pre-cut white pine and Frazier fir Christmas trees, wreaths, and bows. Smith's will also host A Very Merry Market at Smith’s on Dec. 6 from 10 AM - 3 PM, which will include free crafts for the kids, face painting, vendors, hot cocoa, cookies, and a jingle trail hayride. Hours of operation are Sundays from 12 PM - 8 PM, Monday through Thursday from 4 PM - 8 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM - 8 PM until trees are all sold.
Virginia Garden Supply, located at 4614 Boonsboro Road in Lynchburg, offers locally cut Christmas trees. In addition, Virginia Garden Supply offers fresh wreaths, garlands, and poinsettias and has a Christmas shop filled with holiday decor. Virginia Garden Supply will have fresh cut Christmas trees for sale starting Saturday, Nov. 22 for the 2025 season. Additional shipments of trees will arrive each week for the following two weeks. They will also have fresh wreaths, garlands, and poinsettias starting Monday, Nov. 24. Virginia Garden Supply is open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM - 5:30 PM and Sundays from 11 AM - 5 PM for the holidays.

Christmas Tree Fundraiser at Concord Fire Station, located at 80 Midgett Farm Road in Concord, will offer fresh cut Christmas trees at the Concord Volunteer Fire Department Christmas Market on *Not yet updated for 2025* and continue sales until the supply is sold out. After the Christmas Market, Christmas tree sale hours will be Monday through Friday from 5 PM - 8 PM, Saturdays from 11 AM - 8 PM, and Sundays from 2 PM - 6 PM
