Rap Opera for Kids Hip Hop Summer Camp operates two sessions of Hip Hop Summer Camp for children who have completed grades 3, 4, or 5 and reside in the Lynchburg and Central Virginia area.
This camp is perfect for kids who love to dance, rap, sing, write songs, and make music or art. Campers will have four workshop sessions each day to learn and practice these elements of Hip Hop in a week-long, full-day camp.
Hip Hop was founded on the principals of peace, love, unity through music, and having fun! No prior experience is required. At the end of each day, campers will showcase what they learned in a Hip Hop cypher.
Rap Opera for Kids Hip Hop Summer Camps run Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The first session is July 7 - July 11. The second session is July 28 - August 1. Both camps take place at Faith Alliance Church, 7808 Timberlake Road in Lynchburg.
Camp cost is $210 per child per session if paid before June 15; camp cost is $240 per session after June 15.

Hip Hop Summer Camps are led by licensed teachers with over 50 years of combined experience. The camp provides a safe and supportive environment to explore Hip Hop with clean, kid-appropriate materials and music.
At the end of the week, families are invited to a special performance to celebrate their camper's talents.
