Lynchburg Macaroni KID has been busy in the Lynchburg area during February, bringing you videos on our Facebook page from local parks and playgrounds, as well as Virginia State Parks.
We plan to continue our local landmark and day trip adventure series through February and March, so come along with us!
If you don't already follow us on Facebook, it's a good time to start! We share information about many local events and places.
We shared videos from many Christmas displays during December, then switched over the playgrounds and parks after Christmas and into January and February.
Now we're adding a new series of videos from various day trip destinations around Virginia. We're starting with some of our favorite Virginia State Parks and will continue with other fun destinations. What all of the destinations will share in common is that they are inexpensive and family-friendly.
We've included a link to each video below with the name and address of the destination and the date we visited.
You can also access the videos by going to the Lynchburg Macaroni KID Facebook page, clicking on 'Reels' and looking through them all.
Facebook keeps the videos live on our page for only 30 days, so check these out before they disappear.
We've added two categories of videos at the top of the grouping: Blue Ridge Parkway videos and videos from local ice cream and sweet treat shops. All other videos are grouped together by date below these two groups.
BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY VIDEOS
*Note - The section of the Blue Ridge Parkway between the Route 130 entrance to the Parkway and the James River Visitor Center is currently only accessible from the Route 130 side (or further north) due to James River Visitor Center bridge construction. The Blue Ridge Parkway is closed from MP 63.5-63.9, including the James River Visitor Center). There are additional partial and full closures along the Parkway for road work.*
