Rap Opera for Kids operates two sessions of Hip Hop Summer Camp for children who have completed grades 3, 4, or 5 and reside in the Lynchburg and Central Virginia area. 

This camp is perfect for kids who love to dance, rap, sing, write songs, and make music or art. Campers will have four workshop sessions each day to learn and practice these elements of Hip Hop in a week-long, full-day camp. No prior experience is required. At the end of each day, campers will showcase what they learned in a Hip Hop cypher.

Dates:
Session #1: July 7 – July 11, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Session #2: July 28 – August 1, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Camp Location is: Faith Alliance Church, 7808 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502
Both sessions are full-day camps, operating Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Camp cost is $210 per child per session if paid before June 15; *$240 after June 15.

Hip Hop was founded on the principals of peace, love, unity through music, and having fun! 

Led by licensed teachers with over 50 years of combined experience, this camp provides a safe and supportive environment to explore Hip Hop with clean, kid-appropriate materials and music.

At the end of the week, families are invited to a special performance to celebrate their camper's talents.
