Brought to you by the Bedford County Fair Board in partnership with the Town of Bedford, this special summer carnival promises FREE admission, affordable fun, and a community celebration you won’t want to miss.
The 2025 Bedford County Fair season will kick off with a three-day carnival at Liberty Lake Park, August 22–24, presented in conjunction with the Town of Bedford. With free admission for all visitors, the opening weekend will feature a full midway of rides, live entertainment, local food vendors, and family-friendly programs that capture the best of small-town tradition.
Operating Hours
Friday, August 22: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 23: 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m
Sunday, August 24: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Parking & Access
Limited on-site parking will be available at Liberty Lake Park. For community convenience, complimentary shuttle service will also run from Bedford Elementary School, offering visitors an easy and reliable option for parking and transportation to the fairgrounds.
Carnival Midway
Fun Time Amusement will provide a complete midway with rides for all ages, games, and concessions. Tickets will be sold in $1, $20, and $50 increments (most rides require 3–6 tickets each).
Daily ride specials include:
Friday (Opening Night, 4–10 p.m.): $25 unlimited ride armbands
Saturday (12–4 p.m.): $25 unlimited ride armbands. After 4 p.m., discounted ticket packs available.
Sunday (Family Day, 1–6 p.m.): $25 armbands or a Family Four-Pack for $90 (must be purchased together).
Armbands are sold until one hour before the end of each session. Military, first responders, and law enforcement (active or retired) receive 10% off ride tickets with ID (limit two discounts per ID per day).
Live Entertainment
The stage at Liberty Lake Park will feature live performances throughout the weekend. All performances are free, some come every night!
Friday Evening: Alpha Whiskey
Saturday Evening: Tate Tuck
Sunday Afternoon: DJ Showtime hosting a family block party.
Special Programs and Exhibits
All Weekend – Old McDonald Farm Tent: Operated by local 4-H and FFA members, this interactive exhibit allows families to meet farm animals, highlighted by the famous baby duck slide.
Friday Evening – Flower Arranging Demonstration: A live floral design presentation where participants can create and take home their own bouquet.
Saturday – Community Expo: Nonprofit organizations and local agencies will share their services with the community.
Sunday – Children’s Book Readings: Local authors will host free reading sessions for young audiences.
