Rustburg Christmas Parade rescheduled to Sunday December 21st
The parade will be moved to next Sunday, starting at 3:00 pm The committee has been watching the weather and in talks of what to do this weekend. The weather coming in tomorrow doesn't appear it is going to be a lot of snow but, with the .5"-2' we are expected to get and then below average temps the rest of the weekend, we have made the hard decision to reschedule the parade to next Sunday, December 21.
The temperature at the start of the parade is expected to be in the low 20's with an arctic blast coming in around 3:00 pm that will make the temps below 10* and we do not want to put anyone in danger with these frigid temps. We understand this may be a huge inconvenience for a lot of people but, all in all we are concerned with safety first and foremost.
The parade will be moved to next Sunday, starting at 3:00 pm
