Join us at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill alongside members of the descendant community as we honor the lives and legacies of Red Hill’s enslaved population and their descendants.
Date: October 4th, 2025
Presentations Begin: 11:00 am
Location: Patrick Henry’s Red Hill on the Quarter Place Trail
The day begins with an opening ceremony at the Quarter Place Cemetery, where 147 enslaved and free African Americans were laid to rest.
Enjoy presentations, genealogy updates, and interactions with partner museums, organizations, and vendors on the grounds.

We are still looking for dancers and vendors to join us in making this day meaningful and memorable!
