Soar on down to the park on Jan. 10 for National Save the Eagles Day!

Join one of our rangers for a scenic winter adventure along Lakeshore Trail. We'll hike 1.7 miles round-trip with plenty of stops to scan the lake for majestic bald eagles and other wildlife. Learn fascinating facts about eagles and the unique ecosystem that makes Holliday Lake their home all while enjoying stunning views on a crisp winter day.
Please allow 2.5 hours for this event as we will make frequent stops to observe wildlife. Remember your binoculars if you have them. Please wear good shoes for hiking dirt trails with occasional roots and hills. It will likely be cold, so please dress accordingly. You may register with the Park Office in order to be notified if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, including temperatures below freezing and winter weather.
