Sweet Briar College will offer a summer camp for the arts and will host a summer music camp. BLUR is a residential summer program for high school students from June 19-July 9. BLUR examines the relationship between visual arts, creative writing, and theatre. Students have the opportunity to work together, regardless of their field of interest. The camp cost is $2995 which includes an iPad and two hours of college credit. Those who already have an iPad or choose to borrow one from campus will have the cost of the iPad deducted from their fees. Apply at www.sbc.edu/blur.
The James River Quartet Summer Music Camp will be held at Sweet Briar College from June 24-July 1. This camp is for students ages 14-22 who play violin, viola, cello, or piano or who sing.
