Join hundreds of friends at the Turkey Trot 5K Family Fun Run and Walk in Lynchburg, the Giblet Jog 5K in Altavista, or the Gobble Wobble 5k and Fun Run in Lexington. Turkey Trot 5K Family Fun Run and Walk begins and ends at E.C. Glass High School at 8:00 AM on Thanksgiving Day. This is the 35th year of the Turkey Trot, a Lynchburg tradition. Proceeds from this race benefit the programs of HumanKind, which provide a broad range of services that foster the social, mental and financial well-being of families and individuals. Register in advance to guarantee a spot.
Altavista Giblet Jog 5K begins at 8:30 AM on Thanksgiving Day at English Park in Altavista. Register in advance or starting at 7:15 AM on race day. Proceeds from this event will benefit Altavista's economic revitalization efforts.
Lexington Gobble Wobble 5k and Fun Run begins at Upper Maury River Middle School at 8:30 AM in Lexington on Thanksgiving Day. Race day registration begins at 7:30 AM. Children’s Fun Run begins at 8:30 AM, followed by the Lexington Gobble Wobble 5k at 9 AM. All proceeds of the Lexington Gobble Wobble 5k and Fun Run go to support the future of the race, and, as support for the Rockbridge Area Health Center, Rockbridge Area YMCA, and the Chamber of Commerce.
