Bedford Evergreens Christmas Tree Farm, located at 1893 Robertson Road in Bedford, offers choose and cut Christmas trees. Bedford Evergreens will be open from Friday, Nov. 29 through Christmas. In addition to Black Friday from 6 PM - 9 PM, Bedford Evergreens will be open on Saturdays and Sundays during the 2019 season. Hours of operation are Saturdays from 10 AM - 5 PM and Sundays from 12 PM - 5 PM.
Dancing Hill Christmas Tree Farm, located at 1401 Dancing Hill Road in Bedford, opens for the season on Friday, Nov. 29. Dancing Hill is open daily and offers pre-cut and a limited number of choose and cut Christmas trees. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 12 PM - 6 PM, Fridays from 9 AM - 7 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM - 6 PM, and Sundays from 12 PM - 6 PM. From their website: "We will have a large selection of freshly-cut, Virginia-grown Fraser Firs ranging from 6 - 12 feet. We will have a limited number of trees for "Choose and Cut" out of our field this year."
Dave's Maine Wreaths and Trees has two locations in Lynchburg: 19018 Forest Road (former Royal 221 Used Cars location) and 20722 Timberlake Road (Big Lots parking lot). 2019 will be Dave's 30th season selling Christmas trees in Lynchburg. Dave's opens for the season at both locations on Friday, Nov. 29. Dave's offers pre-cut Christmas trees and is open daily. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9 AM - 9 PM and Sundays from 11 AM - 8 PM.
Forest Lions Club operates a Christmas tree lot, located beside Benjamin's Restaurant at 14900 Forest Road in Forest. Forest Lions Club has been holding their annual Christmas Tree Sale since 1974, when the Club formed. The lot opens for business on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 1:00 PM with approximately 300 trees going on sale. Hours open are: Saturday, Nov. 30 from 1 PM - 7 PM, Sunday Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 6 from 11 AM - 7 PM, Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 AM - 7 PM, and Sunday, Dec. 8 daily until trees are all sold from 11 AM - 7 PM. Santa Claus will be on site on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 2-4 PM; Sunday, Dec. 1 from 1-5 PM; Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 1-5 PM. From their Facebook page: "Mark your calendars for the Saturday following Thanksgiving when the lot (next to Benjamin's on 221) opens at 1:00 PM with approximately 300 trees going on sale. The lot is open until we are sold out - generally between 10-12 days!"
Green Needles Christmas Tree Farm, located at 1175 Yew Tree Lane in Coleman Falls, offers both pre-cut and choose and cut Christmas Trees. Green Needles opens for the season on Saturday, Nov. 23 and is open Fridays from 10 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. From their website: "We have a limited number of choose-and-cut trees this season; however, we will have a large selection of precut firs."
Greenview Nursery, located at 794 Leesville Road in Lynchburg, offers pre-cut Christmas trees seasonally. Stay tuned for dates and hours of operation. Phone number is 434-239-5282.
Rustic View Home and Gardens, located at 5169 Waterlick Road in Forest, is already selling their Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands! Rustic View offers pre-cut Christmas trees, wreaths, poinsettias, and a variety of holiday decor. Rustic View Home and Gardens is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays from 8 AM - 4 PM, and Sundays from 12 PM - 5 PM (seasonally).
Saunders Brothers Christmas Tree Farm, located at 2717 Tye Brook Highway in Piney River, opens up for the season on Nov. 30 and will be open Saturdays, Nov. 30, Dec. 7, and Dec. 14 only. Saunders will be selling Choose and Cut Christmas Trees with a great selection of trees including those for tall ceilings. Hours of operation are Saturdays from 10 AM -4 PM. Services include saws for cutting, tying trees on cars, and tree baling at no extra cost. In addition, you can select handcrafted wreaths and swags for your holiday décor on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 AM - 5 PM. The Tree Farm is across the road from the Farm Market. Smiths Pumpkin Patch, located at 6204 Fort Avenue in Lynchburg, opens for the season on Sunday, Nov. 24 and offers pre-cut Christmas trees. From their Facebook page: "It's that wonderful time of year again! Come by this weekend to get your tree! We are open Friday from 10-9, Saturday from 9-9, and Sunday from 12-8!" Smiths will remain open until the trees sell out, generally mid-December.
Virginia Garden Supply, located at 4614 Boonsboro Road in Lynchburg, offers locally cut Christmas trees. In addition, Virginia Garden Supply offers fresh wreaths and poinsettias and has a Christmas shop filled with holiday decor. Virginia Garden Supply is open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM - 5 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
Riverbend Tree Farms Lynchburg posted this update in October on their Facebook page: "To all of our great customers: As you all start preparing for the upcoming holidays, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your past support!
