Beale's is located at 510 Grove Street in Bedford. Beale's offers burgers, barbecue, appetizers, and a kids menu. Beale's also offers many choices of beer and is closed Monday and Tuesday, open for dinner Wednesday through Friday, and lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.
Benjamin's Restaurant is located at 14900 Forest Road in Forest. Benjamin's offers hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, and a variety of creative specials and gourmet desserts. El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant and Grill is located at 1297 Main Street in Altavista. El Cerrito offers a variety of Mexican foods and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
El Jefe Taqueria is located at 1214 Commerce Street with outdoor dining on the Bluffwalk in downtown Lynchburg. El Jefe is an eclectic tequila bar serving simple fresh tacos and is open for dinner on Tuesday through Saturday, as well as late night on Friday and Saturday nights.
Grey's is located at 512 Fifth Street in Lynchburg. The patio is scheduled to open on Wednesday, May 20 for outdoor dining. Grey's offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, and entrees. Grey's is open for dinner on Wednesday through Saturday, late night on Saturdays, and brunch and lunch on Sundays.
Iron & Ale is located at 106 Cornerstone Street in the Cornerstone community off Greenview Drive in Lynchburg. They offer a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and meals and also offers a children's menu. Iron & Ale is open for lunch and dinner daily.
JoJo Pizza is located at 1400 Lakeside Drive in Lynchburg. JoJo Pizza offers pizza including their 28" giant pizza, subs, salads, cannoli, zeppole, wraps, calzones, strombolis, and crusty rolls and is open for lunch and dinner daily as well as late night on Friday and Saturday.
La Carreta is located at 4678 S. Amherst Highway in Madison Heights. Although there are multiple locations of La Carreta, this is the only location with outdoor dining. La Carreta is our family's favorite and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
La Villa is located at 8109 Timberlake Road in Lynchburg. La Villa offers real Italian food, great pizza, a family-friendly atmosphere and two outdoor dining areas. During the pandemic, La Villa helped the community and local law enforcement in many ways, including collecting canned foods to donate, providing food for law enforcement and first responders, and giving away Mother's Day gifts for local kids to give their moms. Regular hours are Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner.
Lola's Mexican Cuisine and Cantina is located at 3025 Old Forest Road in Lynchburg. Lola's offers fresh Mexican and Tex-Mex menu choices and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Magnolia Foods is located at 2476 Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg. Magnolia Foods offers gourmet deli sandwiches, fresh salads, and a variety of hot meal items. McAlister's Deli is located at 717 Wards Ferry Road in the Kohl's shopping center in Lynchburg. {RA} Bistro is located at 1344 Main Street in Lynchburg. Reservations are encouraged, but they will also try to accommodate walk in traffic. {RA} Bistro offers contemporary American cuisine and decadent desserts and is open Thursday through Monday for lunch and dinner.

Spring House Dining and Reception Hall is located at 9789 Richmond Hwy, eight miles east of Lynchburg. The Babcock House is located at 250 Oakleigh Avenue in Appomattox. The Babcock House offers Southern fare, lunch entrees, homemade desserts, and more. The Babcock House is open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday, and lunch on Sundays.
The BackYard Forest is located at 15173 Forest Road in Forest (former Carol's Place location). The BackYard is a food truck court with numerous food trucks offering a variety of foods. Among the choices are: specialty coffee and breakfast, hot dogs and sandwiches, Mexican food, sweet and savory pies, wings, barbecue, ice cream, and more! Each food truck sets its own hours, so check the website for the most up-to-date information.
The Depot Grille is located beside the James River at 10 Ninth Street in downtown Lynchburg. The Depot Grille specializes in steak and seafood, but also offers a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, meals, and desserts. Kids love watching meals cooked in the kitchen, created from two transformed railroad cars. Starting Friday, May 24, The Depot Grille will offer outside dining on a first come, first served basis. The Depot Grille is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.

Waterstone Pizza is located in downtown Lynchburg at 1309 Jefferson Street. As the name suggests, Waterstone's specialty is fire roasted pizza.
