9. Go see the lights at English Meadows Elks Campus (Former Elks National Home) in Bedford! The lights and tree displays are on each evening through Dec. 31.
10. Nelson County Christmas Parade -- Saturday at 6 PM in Downtown Lovingston
11. Luminary Nights on Saturday and Sunday or Festival of Trees at Natural Bridge State Park through Jan. 1 -- both events at Natural Bridge State Park in Natural Bridge

Do some holiday shopping on Saturday at Mistletoe Market at Lynchburg Community Market, Winter Gift Fair and Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Acorn Hill Lodge, Very Merry Vendor Fair at Jamerson Family YMCA, the Hill City Handmade Pop-Up at River Ridge Mall, Holiday Showcase and Cookies with Santa at T.C.
