A favorite holiday tradition in our family is going to see Christmas lights. Enjoy this listing of various locations to see Christmas light displays this year.
**NOTE - Many families don't have their Christmas displays up during heavy wind and rain, especially those with inflatables.**
We've partnered with Grove Street FM, Bedford's own streaming station; our Facebook fans; fans of the Living in Lynchburg group; and done a lot of driving around to assemble this listing of area Christmas light displays.

Holiday Light Displays Verified for 2024
Traditionally, the weekend after Thanksgiving is when most individuals and businesses light up for the holidays. However, in recent years, we've seen a shift to some individuals and businesses starting their holiday lights season earlier. We'll update throughout the holiday season, including dates when known!

In addition to the individual houses noted below, here's a great short loop for the littles in mid-town Lynchburg:
From Fort Avenue, turn onto Long Meadows Drive, then turn left onto Pawnee Drive, follow until Pawnee runs into Sandusky Drive, follow Sandusky until it becomes Thomas Road, follow to intersection with Sussex Street, turn right onto Sussex Street, then left onto Perrymont Avenue, then turn right onto Fort Avenue. Each of these streets usually has 10-12 (or more) houses decorated and this is a short enough loop that even the little ones won't get tired of riding.
