Summer WonderCamp at Amazement Square is a series of week long camps for children ages 3 through those who have completed eighth grade.
Campers will fuel curiosity, fight learning loss, and get ready for a summer of discovery, creativity, and fun!
Your camper will explore NEW themes with us, including Mess Fest, Adventures in Coding, LEGO Builders, and 3rd Rock from the Sun, as well as two NEW camp options for middle schoolers interested in theater and a neurodivergent affirming program for 4th and 5th graders!
Camps run Monday to Friday beginning June 2nd through August 8th with no camps the week of July 4th. Different camp levels are offered each week. For all camps, campers MUST be registered online. Individual camp registrations will close the Friday at 4 PM preceding the first day of camp.
Register in the month of March and receive $15 off each full-day camp (Explorer, Adventurer, Theater) and $10 off each 1/2 day camp (Junior, Discovery). Supporting Patron Members receive 10% off any camp registration at any time. Discounts may not be combined.

Here's information about each camp:
WonderCamp Junior camps are half-day camps for campers ages 3-5 who haven't yet entered kindergarten. Junior campers must have turned three years old by the start of the camp week and be bathroom independent. Campers attend Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM - 12:45 PM.
1/2 Day Mess Fest takes place June 2-6. Campers will create and explore with ooey, gooey science experiments and make art projects. Getting messy is part of the fun!
1/2 Day Dinosaur Roar camp takes place June 16-20. Campers will explore the world of dinosaurs, dig for fossils, and create a dinosaur habitat!
1/2 Day Mighty Machines takes place July 7-11. Campers will explore how machines work and keep us moving. Trains, cars, rockets, and bulldozers will excite machine lovers!
1/2 Day Space Academy takes place July 21-25. Campers will embark on a mission to space, train like astronauts, and explore the night sky.

WonderCamp Explorer camps are full-day camps for campers who have completed kindergarten through second grade. Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM.
LEGO Builders camps take place June 2-6 and August 4-8. If your child loves LEGOs, they can join us for different building and engineering LEGO challenges, including stop-motion animation and LEGO robotics!
Solid, Liquid, Slime camp takes place June 9-13. Campers will explore the states of matter through experiments and demonstrations as they make lots of icky, sticky slime!
Invention Convention camp takes place June 16-20. Campers will use theirr inventor’s mind to design and build with different daily challenges, all while using recycled materials. They will also create moving parts with circuits and make their project come to life!
Mad Scientist camp takes place June 23-27. Campers will learn to think like scientists through thought-provoking experiments and demonstrations.
Robot Coders camp takes place July 7-11. Campers will discover how robots work through circuits and engineering. They will also practice coding robots to move and perform tasks.
3rd Rock From the Sun camp takes place July 14-18. Campers will dive under the Earth’s crust to discover all that makes our Earth special. From rocks and volcanoes to plants, animals, and ecosystems, your child will have a blast!
Big Messy Art camp takes place July 21-25. Campers will create their own artwork and masterpieces in this colorful camp where they are sure to get messy!
Space Explorers camp takes place July 28 - August 1. Campers will explore the solar system in Amazement Square’s planetarium! They will discover Project Gateway as they design a research station on the Moon and create their own colony on Mars.

WonderCamp Adventurer camps are full day camps for campers who have completed third through fifth grades. Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM.
Digital Designers camp takes place June 23-27. Campers will create their own digital designs and explore different software. They will make logos in Canva and bring them to life using a Cricut, design their own digital LEGO build with BrickLink Studio complete with step-by step instructions to recreate, and create 3D designs in TinkerCad to print on a 3D printer.
Adventures in Coding camp takes place July 28 - August 1. Campers will create their own stop motion animation films in this camp dedicated to film and design! They will explore set design, construct their characters, and experiment with sound effects to create a one-of-a-kind production.

WonderCamp Theater camp is a full day camp for campers who have completed sixth through eighth grades. Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM.
Creating Drama camp takes place July 21-25. Campers will enjoy daily theater classes for middle schoolers, including technical theater and costume/makeup instruction. The group will create a script together, then rehearse and perform it for an audience at Commerce Street Theatre. Campers will walk between Amazement Square and Commerce Street Theatre.

WonderCamp Discovery camps are half-day neurodiversity affirming programs for campers who have completed 4th-5th grade. Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM - 12:45 PM.
Campers in both sessions will enjoy museum exploration and group activities that will build self-confidence and enhance social skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This camp includes specially trained staff, small group sizes, and a quiet space for campers who need to take a break. Camper requirements include: able to participate in a group, bathroom independent, not physically or verbally aggressive, does not require 1:1 support, and no history of eloping.
Steam Makers camp takes place June 9-13. Campers will enjoy tinkering, building, and creating where out of the box thinking is required! Each day focuses on a different part of STEAM with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math!
Stop Motion Filmmakers camp takes place July 14-18. Campers will create their own stop motion animation films in this camp dedicated to film and design! Explore set design, construct your characters, and experiment with sound effects to create a one-of-a-kind production.
