***POSTPONED to Dec. 16*** Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra Presents: There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays at the Academy Center of the Arts on Dec. 9 at 4 PM. Dec. 16 at 7:30 PM.
Due to impending severe weather and for the safety of their patrons, the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra has rescheduled the “Home for the Holidays” Concert originally scheduled for Sunday, December 9, 2018, at 4:00pm in the Academy Center of the Arts' Historic Academy of Music Theatre.
All ticket purchases will be honored for the rescheduled performance date and time, Sunday, December 16, 2018, at 7:30pm. This performance will take place in the Historic Academy of Music Theatre as originally planned.
Questions regarding credits to future Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra performances or refunds should be directed to the Academy Center of the Arts Box Office during Box Office Hours, Monday through Thursday (10am - 4pm), Friday (12pm - 8pm) and Saturday (12pm - 4pm), by phone at (434) 846-8499, or by email to our Box Office Manager at tedwards@academycenter.org.
Guest conductor Hugh Ballou brings 30 years of choral and orchestral conducting experience to the podium, offering concert-goers a program full of Christmas spirit! Come hear the LSO with guest soloists, choirs, and festive repertoire to celebrate the holidays at the newly-opened Historic Theatre!
Tickets for this event will be released to members September 5 – 12, 2018. Remaining tickets will be released to the public on September 13, 2018.
