Forest lions Club will hold its 44th annual Christmas tree sale starting Saturday, November 24th at 1:00 PM with approximately 320 trees going on sale. The lot is open until they sell out - generally between 10-12 days.
Hours for the lot are: Nov. 24-25 from 1 PM - 7 PM, Nov. 26-30 from 11 AM to 7 PM, Dec. 1 from 9 AM - 7 PM, and Dec. 2 from 1 PM - 7 PM. If trees remain after Dec. 2, the hours the following week will be: Dec. 3-7 from 11 AM - 7 PM.
In addition, Santa will be on site on Nov. 24 from 1-4 PM, Nov. 25 from 1-5 PM, Dec. 1 from 10 AM - 2 PM, and Dec. 2 from 1-5 PM. One hundred percent of all proceeds from the sale are returned to the community through various charitable donations including providing eye exams and glasses, yearly scholarships to high school seniors, holiday assistance for families in need, support of the Lions Club's annual family health fair and support of the Forest Youth Athletic Association.
The Lions’ tree lot is located adjacent to Benjamin’s Restaurant, 14900 Forest Road (Virginia Rt.221) and Backyard Outfitters (a building sales business) in Forest
