Summer Reading “Blast” Off: School House Rock Live! This year’s Summer Reading Program officially starts with the Roanoke Children’s Theatre returning to perform a new show – “School House Rock Live!” at Timbrook Library at 11 a.m. The show is based on the book by Scott Ferguson, George Keating, and Kyle Hall. The performance is free. Registration is requested since space is limited. Feel free to bring a picnic and eat lunch outside after the show. Don’t want to pack a lunch? Brother Jake’s Pizza and Kona Ice of Lynchburg will be in our parking lot for optional eating opportunities.
