DGIF is offering three full days of free fishing, June 7–9. Anyone can fish free in public waters around the state without having to buy a fishing license. Just remember, all fishing regulations still apply. Plan some time to go fishing and boating; take the family fishing and boating or learn to fish and boat!
Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries staff will be on hand at these events across Virginia to help you get started with demonstrations, tackle boxes and loaner gear.
