Take time to honor all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces during this special event.
Program will include:
• Keynote address by D-Day historian and author, Peter Caddick-Adams
• Patriotic music and art display from Bedford Elementary School
• Dedication of the latest installation of veteran bricks
• Recognition of all veterans in attendance
• Book signing following the ceremony of “Sand and Steel: A New History of D-Day,” the newest book by Peter Caddick-Adams
Guests are asked to bring their own chair. No coolers or pets with the exception of service animals.
Speaker Information:
Peter Caddick-Adams, is a well-known author, military historian, battlefield tour guide, broadcaster, and defense analyst from the United Kingdom. An accomplished speaker on the international scene, he is the author of Monty and Rommel: Parallel Lives (2011), Monte Cassino: Ten Armies in Hell (2012), Snow and Steel: The Battle of the Bulge (2014) and most recently the epic Sand and Steel: A New History of D-Day (2019). Dr. Caddick-Adams is a veteran of the British military, and has extensive experience as a military historian in active war zones, including the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan.
