The Lynchburg Christmas Parade "A Starry Night in Toyland" is happening, BUT with a twist!
As everyone knows, 2020 has been a backwards and interesting year to say the least! The CVABC has had to constantly change and tweak events to follow regulations and guidelines put in place, and the Lynchburg Christmas Parade has been no exception. While we are extremely disappointed to have to change the way the Lynchburg Christmas parade will run this year, we have worked to put in place a creative alternative that allows our local community to still enjoy some Christmas Cheer and allows are businesses and organizations the opportunity to promote themselves while providing Joy and entertainment to the community!
Yes, it will be different, No it will not feel the same, Yes it is very disappointing BUT something is Happening!
The Drive Thru Christmas Parade will allow for people to Drive thru and witness the Scenes, Floats, Music, Performances, Cars, and more that they are used to seeing but from the comfort and safety of their own vehicles. This year the community will have the opportunity to Vote for their Favorite Float/Scene!
If you are interested in participating and setting up a Float or Scene, entering a Vehicle, Dance Group, or other. Please contact us at Heather Alto at heather@cvabc.org, to get an application!
** We are also hosting the Bedford Christmas Parade on Saturday December 5th using the same Drive Thru style at Liberty Lake Park, if you are interested in a space in both, please contact us as well for that application**
