Description
For parents and caregivers of children with sensory sensitivities, finding time for the whole family to enjoy a play date without stress can be challenging. Sensory and Sensitivity Morning offers a low-stimulus event for children with sensory sensitivities.
We invite families to our low-sensory environment that otherwise may not be possible during regular operational hours. During this time, overhead announcements, bright lights, music, televisions and other sensory inputs will be limited as much as possible to provide a quiet and calming atmosphere. Enjoy reduced number of visitors, space and freedom to explore at your own pace, adapted animal interactions and exhibits, craft and sensory activities, and a quiet area.
This event takes place on the first Sunday of every month from 9:30 AM - 12 PM.
To ensure we have a reduced number of visitors during this time, we are requiring guests to register in advance.
