The Amazing Mile Children’s Run invites area youth ages 13 and under to get up and get moving in downtown Lynchburg! Held in conjunction with the Virginia 10 Miler, this regional favorite offers and an event for every skill level including a one-mile run, a half-mile run, and a quarter-mile run. Each year family members and community spectators head downtown to support the children’s run and take part in the Virginia 10 Miler Family Festival held at Amazement Square and the surrounding area between Jefferson Street and the James River!
*Children can register for one of three Amazing Children's Runs to be held Friday evening September 24th. Entry for the Amazing Mile Children's 1/4 mile (Ages 0-5) and 1/2 mile (Ages 6-9) and The Amazing Mile Children's Run (Ages 13 & under).
**Race Entry Limits: 1/4 mile (150), 1/2 mile (200), 1 mile (400). Registration will close when these events reach capacity.
