Build your own AM Radio!

Build your own Foxhole Radio at Vector Space on September 2nd.

During WWII, soldiers would build simple radios from found parts to listen in on radio programs transmitting news and music.

Try building your own and better understand how such a simple device can give us a glimpse into the magical world of radio. Tours of the makerspace will also be available.

First Friday is free and family-friendly, thanks to sponsorship by the Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation and in partnership with the Downtown Lynchburg Association.
