Tree Lighting Ceremony and Cookies and Crafts with Santa before paradeDescription
We are pleased to announce that the 2022 Christmas Parade on December 2nd in the Town of Amherst will be back on Main Street in celebration of the holiday season, showcasing marching bands, dancers, musicians, and much more. The parade will take place rain or shine. The excitement begins at 6:30 p.m. where the parade will step-off from Kenmore Road before traveling up Main Street and ending at the traffic circle. Parade-goers are encouraged to arrive early to find a spot on S. Main Street to watch the parade and to spread the festive cheer.
This year’s theme is Blue Christmas. Parade spectators are invited to participate in the illumination by adorning light-up apparel and accessories. Parade participants are encouraged to decorate their entries inspired by this theme.
