Description
Lynchburg Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 4 PM
The parade is scheduled to kickoff at 4pm and make it's way from the Bank of the James Stadium to E.C. Glass High School.
Last year we introduced our "Quiet Zone" located right outside of the Bank of the James Stadium on Fort Avenue where families with adults or children that have sensory issues, autism, or those attending with pets that may not like the loud noises, sirens, etc could sit and view the parade but not get scared by the noises.
We will again have the "Quiet Zone" in place this year at the same location so make sure that you get your spot here if you are wanting a quiet parade! Once the parade turns left onto Wythe, the sounds and sirens will begin again for the remainder of the route.
We want the Parade to be all inclusive and a space where everyone can view and get some Christmas Cheer!
Parade Route:
The parade takes place in midtown Lynchburg starting at the Bank of the James Stadium
Right onto Fort Ave
Left on Wythe Road
Straight onto Oakley Avenue
Right onto Memorial Avenue
Ends at E.C. Glass High School
