July 1 starting at 5:30 PM; fireworks at 9:30 PM at Appomattox High School

Description

Come celebrate Independence Day weekend in Appomattox on July 1st from 5:30-10pm! Watch local fire departments compete in a fireman’s competition. The day will consist of FREE admission and activities including a fireman’s competition, food and inflatables.

Multiple food trucks, including bbq, hot dogs, pork rinds, kettle corn, snow cones, and other snack items will be available for purchase. The night will conclude with a FREE fireworks show.

This event sponsored by Liberty Baptist Church and the town of Appomattox will take place across from Liberty Baptist Church in Liberty Field and Appomattox County High School.

5:30pm - 8:30pm - Fireman's Competition, Inflatables and Food Trucks at Liberty Field
9:30pm - Fireworks Show at Appomattox County High School
