The 6th Annual Field of Honor takes place from Sept. 9 - 23, with our Opening Ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 4 PM, next to Automated Conveyor Systems, Inc. on Graves Mill Road.
The 2023 Field of Honor is the sixth consecutive year that the Rotary Club of Forest will honor our Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders, Firefighters, Police Officers, EMTs, Health Care Workers, and those that have made the Ultimate Sacrifice.
Of special note, our guests of honor this year will be our Vietnam Veterans. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Operation Homecoming — the departure of US Troops from Vietnam and the release of the final group of POWs from Hanoi in 1973.
Opening Ceremony: Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 4 pm
The Patriots BBQ: Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 5 pm - 7 pm (ticketed event)
9/11 Ceremony: Monday, September 11, 2023 at 6:30 pm
Flag Pickup: Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4 pm - 7 pm, and Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9 am - Noon
Taps sounded daily at 7pm.
