THE QUANTUM MECHANICS Multi-instrumentalist Ed Mikenas, bassist Andy Aeschbacher & drummer Worth Proffitt bring you Summa-Shamanama jazz & coffee house trivia. Coffee and Humans have done much to inspire and nourish the creative aspect of life…and Coffee houses became one of the first community-oriented spaces for people to meet, experience a variety of intellectual pursuits, and listen to the newest music of the time. AGAR and Second Stage continue this tradition in contemporary style. The Quantum Mechanics will take it to the Next Level with a new “interactive” tune titled “Summa-Shamanama”* by Ed Mikenas. It will have you smiling where you sit and dancing where you dare. In this performance, TQM will be brewing up more new works with a focus on changing your consciousness with a stream of musical goodness. You will hear the Blues, some BeBop, and a bit of Western Swing, all served up with original tunes by Ed Mikenas.
*Summa-Shamanama is a word to describe a feeling of happiness or excitement. It is generally used when other positive expressions do not first come to mind.- from the Urban Dictionary
