Start the New Year with Natural Bridge State Park. Meet at Skyline Trailhead Parking Lot

Enjoy the first day of the new year by joining rangers and volunteers for our annual First Day Hike. This year we will be admiring the Blue Ridge Mountains and beautiful panoramic views from Skyline Trail, which is a 1.6-mile, easy to moderate hike. There is a slight incline to start, but it will even out during the walk. The guided hike will take about 1.5 hours as we journey through the park's forests and meadows in winter. Please dress according to the weather, wear close-toed shoes, and carry water. This is a FREE parking day for all Virginia State Parks.
