Description
The United Way 5K on the Runway, is perfect for participants ages 8 and older, who are able to complete 5K in 60 minutes or less. The course is flat and fast. The course follows the taxiway parallel to the main runway. Come out, join the fun, support United Way of Central Virginia, and see Lynchburg Regional Airport in a whole new way! There is a 500-person and 60 minute time limit for the event. The United Way 5K on the Runway is scheduled to take flight on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Proceeds from this event support the mission of the United Way of Central Virginia.
The 2024 Lynchburg Road Runners Club Spring/Summer Race Series includes 9 races this year, your best 7 races will be scored and you need a minimum of 5 races to be included. Discounts to LRRC members are available for early registrants. The races are:
