Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join your community for these fun and FREE Downtown Movie events. These will be held at Riverfront Park as the City of Lynchburg has allowed us to utilize half of the park as well as the adjacent splash pad during park construction.
Here’s the official summer lineup:
July 12 – Trolls Band Together at Riverfront Park activities begin at 6:30 PM; movie at dusk
July 19 – Wonka at Riverfront Park activities begin at 6:30 PM; movie at dusk
August 2 – Jumanji at Riverfront Park activities begin at 6:30 PM; movie at dusk
August 9 – The Goonies at Riverfront Park activities begin at 6:30 PM; movie at dusk
August 16 – Sing 2 at Riverfront Park activities begin at 6:30 PM; movie at dusk
August 30 – Barbie at Riverfront Park activities begin at 6:30 PM; movie at dusk
Activities will kick off at 6:30 and movies will begin shortly after sunset. Stay tuned for more information regarding themed activities, food vendors, parking and more! Rain dates are scheduled for the following day and will be announced the morning of each event depending on the weather.
