Events begin at 4 PM; Patrick Henry speech at 7 PM; Fireworks at 9:15 PM

Description

Would you like to experience Independence Day at the final home of Virginia’s first governor? Come spend this July 4th at the “garden spot of the world,” Patrick Henry’s Red Hill! Events begin at 4:00 pm with the gate closing at 9:00 pm.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to comfortably watch Patrick Henry’s fifth great-grandson give his “Give me liberty or give me death!” speech. Before enjoying a fantastic fireworks display at 9:15 pm, grab a bite to eat from one of our many on-site food vendors, enjoy face painting for the kids, and tour Patrick Henry’s home and museum.

Please do NOT bring any alcohol, personal fireworks (including sparklers), grills, or pets.

General Admission Tickets: $10/car and can be purchased at the gate. Pre-sale ticketing will begin closer to the event.
