Description
Tuskegee Thursday activities on July 25 at Amazement Square are free with special $10 per person admission. The other two events are not at Amazement Square. See locations below.
July 11th: Airplane Aerodynamics - FREE event at The Legacy Activity Center (6th-8th grade)
2:00pm-3:30pm
Learn the basic principles of aerodynamics by studying terminology and evaluating different designs. Dreams will fly in a simulated flight contest for all.
July 18th: Who Were the Tuskegee Airmen? - FREE event at Anne Spencer House and Garden Museum

Listen to a short read of the book titled, “Who Were the Tuskegee Airmen?” by Chauncey Spencer’s daughter, Shaun Spencer-Hester, and design your own parachute and dog tags! The program will culminate with a tour of Chauncey’s bedroom where visitors will learn more of his history and see photos of his flight.
