The Lynchburg Public Library is excited to announce a joint program with the Culinary Director for Hen and Hound, Candace Vinson on Saturday, August 3, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Downtown Branch Library, 216 12th Street.
The program, “A Market Meal with Chef Candace,” will showcase how attendees can make a farm-to-table meal for their entire family by sourcing local ingredients from the Lynchburg Community Market. Vinson will make a meal complete with a side in a special demonstration. All attendees will leave the program with a recipe card so they can make the meal at home. Vinson will share tips on how to involve your children in cooking as well as healthy eating tips for families.
This is a family-friendly program and is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
