The free Milepost Music concerts scheduled for Humpback Rocks on August 4 and August 18 are being relocated to Peaks of Otter at milepost 85.6 on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Bedford, Va. They'll be under some large shade trees next to the lake. Bring a chair to sit in, some cold lemonade, and toes for tapping!
The Sunday, Aug. 4 Milepost Music concert - which takes place from 2-4 p.m. and is free and open to the public, and which will now be held at Peaks of Otter Lodge & Restaurant, on the Point at Abbott Lake - will feature singer-songwriter and guitarist Keith Goggin.
